Our men’s team had a great victory over the neighbours Sunday in the 1/4 final of the championship.. we got off the mark quick but failed to keep up the tempo and allowed Barry’s to go in 1pt up at the break. The second half saw us come into our stride and with a great interception in the defence saw the ball work it’s way up to the forwards and end up in the back of the net and then we pushed on to win 2-11 to 8pts.We now face St Michael’s in 3 weeks time.
The minor team are also in to the county final after beating st faithleachs last weekend .
The u12 girls claimed the Daly cup in Boyle last Saturday also.
Niamh Hall & Eoin Grehan we’re crowned Connacht champions at the weekend in the Handball. Hard luck to the other competitors.
